I don=E2=80=99t think multicast will do what you=E2=80=99re after - it =
sends the same message to multiple endpoints.

I think you could accomplish what you=E2=80=99re after using three =
routes:

<route>
  <from uri=3D=E2=80=9C{{source}}=E2=80=9D />
  <multicast>
    <to uri=3D=E2=80=9Cdirect:a=E2=80=9D />
    <to uri=3D=E2=80=9Cdirect:b=E2=80=9D />
  </multicast>
</route>

<route>
  <from uri=3D=E2=80=9Cdirect:a=E2=80=9D />
  <convertBodyTo type=3D=E2=80=9CobjectTypeA=E2=80=9D />
  <to uri=3D=E2=80=9Cactivemq:FOO.BAR=E2=80=9D />
</route>

<route>
  <from uri=3D=E2=80=9Cdirect:b=E2=80=9D />
  <convertBodyTo type=3D=E2=80=9CobjectTypeB=E2=80=9D />
  <to uri=3D=E2=80=9Cactivemq:FOO.BAR=E2=80=9D />
