Subject When to use Proxy ?

When to use Proxy in Camel ?

I have to create a sort og "HUB" , the "HUB´s" function is to get a
webservice request , and from the header information, route the request to
one of 3 difrent endpoints.

The Hub logs the header in MQ.

The Hub change some of the header information.

The Hub is running in 3 difrent versions, becouse the header information can
have changed, that means diffrent WSDLS, i have solved this by createing 3
difrent context root, one for each war file.

Now the queistion.

Schould i implement this as a Proxy service, or a normal webservice, and do
somebody have some information, that tells me the disadvanteges and benefits
make the HUB a Proxy service.
