Subject RE: Preventing a route from kicking in without having to shut down camel
Date Fri, 08 Aug 2014 08:43:17 GMT
Hi,

Isn't the question about "preventing a route from kicking in" ? We can stop a route only if
it has been started.

Even CamelContext.suspendRoute(routeId) my not work on a route yet to start.

There is a warmUp() on the inteface Route. This is called(via callback) before the route starts.
You can write some logic here, to prevent the route from proceeding to start.

Hi,

would programmatically stopping a specific route be a solution?

camelContext.stopRoute(routeId);

Thomas
