I suggest to look at the payload being sent to the remote webservice,
and what it returns back as payload.
Also pay attention to the stacktrace logging level. If its WARN then
it may just be CXF logging that by default when a Fault is returned.

And with a tool such as SoapUI you can paste in the request being sent
and see the reply, etc. Its a good and nice web service tool.

CXF allows you to log the request/reply payload, using some logging
interceptors. Check the CXF docs for that.
