My colleagues told me the following; I haven't verified it but it might be a hint: JBoss does obviously use it's own JMX server, because it's been built on Java 1.4. However, it's possible to merge (?) the JBoss JMX server with the one used by Java 5 or Java 6. Then it should be possible to see the MBeans of Java (and perhaps of Camel aswell). All you need is to start JBoss with the following properties: - -Djboss.platform.mbeanserver - -Djavax.management.builder.initial=org.jboss.system.server.jmx.MBeanServerBuilderImpl Hope this helps.
