Subject [jira] [Commented] (CAMEL-6584) camel splunk component
Date Sat, 21 Sep 2013 17:36:51 GMT

Preben Asmussen commented on CAMEL-6584:

I merged the last changes in from the previous patch, and moved the Splunk connect logic from
the SplunkConfiguration to a separate ConnectionFactory class.
ExecutorServiceManager is now obtained from the CamelContext.
I also upgraded to Splunk 1.2.0, and introduced a new option useSunHttpsHandler.

This option is somewhat related to a problem I had while connecting to Splunk when running
in Weblogic, due to its insistence to use it's own http/s handlers. If the option is turned
on it will force splunk to use when connecting, and this
bypasses Weblogic http/s handlers.
Let me know if it introduces problems.

I'll verify the latest changes on a live environment when the changes are committed.
