Subject [jira] [Commented] (CAMEL-5547) Add option to camel wiki to report bugs
Date Wed, 29 Aug 2012 10:55:07 GMT

Claus Ibsen commented on CAMEL-5547:

Alan, reporting documentation issues is just like reporting any other issues. You can use
the mailing lists or the JIRA tracker etc.

And as in a future time we hopefully migrate our docs from wiki to be in the source code,
so we can do versioned documentation, as many other projects. Then doc fixes would be just
like code fixes.

What we can do is to add more details to this page how to report doc issues

I don't see a point in trying to add a new dimension how to report doc issues that goes beyond
what we have today. Also considering how other projects have docs in source control, and a
doc fix is just like a code fix. We should get to that point with Camel someday I hope.

It would be good to encourage users to report any problems they find with the documentation
without needing to create an account, or a lot of hassle.
