Subject [jira] [Commented] (CAMEL-5491) Cannot access blueprint property placeholder values from velocity
Date Wed, 08 Aug 2012 22:37:20 GMT

Alan Foster commented on CAMEL-5491:

I rely on properties set in a configuration file for specific information to be used within

Apache Camel's Simple is able to directly access both the properties within an exchange with
the notation `${property.keyName}`
It is also able to access the property placeholder information with `${properties:keyName}`

I therefore wondered if a similar method of accessing properties can be added to velocity...
As having full access to the property/configuration details within velocity would be a useful
thing to have!

> There isn't a way within velocity to access properties set within the blueprint property-placeholder.
> Currently you can only access the exchange's properties according to the documentation
