    Great to see this getting done. :+1: 
    
    While looking at the code I noticed some places where is is possible to slightly reduce
code by using additional awaitility features.

You can merge this pull request into a Git repository by running:

    $ git pull https://github.com/PascalSchumacher/camel awaitiblity_simplifications

Alternatively you can review and apply these changes as the patch at:

    https://github.com/apache/camel/pull/1809.patch

To close this pull request, make a commit to your master/trunk branch
with (at least) the following in the commit message:
