Subject [jira] Commented: (CAMEL-3620) Blueprint container goes 'GracePeriod' if component is defined in the same XML file
Date Thu, 24 Feb 2011 00:33:38 GMT

Justin Beck commented on CAMEL-3620:
------------------------------------

I experienced this today. It appeared to be unrelated to whether I defined components in
the same file as routes. My temporary fix was to add "blueprint.graceperiod:=false" to the
Bundle-SymbolicName in the pom for this bundle.

> When a Blueprint file contains both a route and a component bean definition, the Camel
routes get started correct but the Blueprint container will go to status 'GracePeriod'.
> An example:
> {code:xml}
> <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
> <blueprint
>     xmlns="http://www.osgi.org/xmlns/blueprint/v1.0.0"
>     xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
>     xsi:schemaLocation="
>       http://www.osgi.org/xmlns/blueprint/v1.0.0
>       http://www.osgi.org/xmlns/blueprint/v1.0.0/blueprint.xsd">
>     <camelContext xmlns="http://camel.apache.org/schema/blueprint">
>       <route>
>         <from uri="file:activemq/input"/>
>         <to uri="file:activemq/output"/>
>         <setBody>
>           <simple>
>             FileMovedEvent(file: ${file:name}, timestamp: ${date:now:hh:MM:ss.SSS})
>           </simple>
>         </setBody>
>         <to uri="amq://events" />
>       </route>
>     </camelContext>
>     <bean id="amq" class="org.apache.activemq.camel.component.ActiveMQComponent">
>       <property name="brokerURL" value="vm://default?create=false&waitForStart=10000"/>
>     </bean>
> </blueprint>
> {code}
> After the 5 minute time-out period, the routes are stopped and we end up with this message
in the log file.
> {noformat}
> Unable to start blueprint container for bundle activemq2.xml due to unresolved dependencies

>   [(&(component=log)(objectClass=org.apache.camel.spi.ComponentResolver)),
>    (&(component=amq)(objectClass=org.apache.camel.spi.ComponentResolver))]
> {noformat}
