- the fact that stepwise is meant for the consumer, but the fact that the producer may use CD if you upload a file and have autoCreate=true

Now we are left with finding a good name for this new {{stepwise}} option.

It may not even have to be a boolean, we can use a String so we can introduce different modes in the future
- consumerMode
- consumerChangeDirectoryMode
- mode
- changeDirectoryMode
- etc.

And then have current values for the option
- default
- stepwise
