Ah - so we have another antidote to magic

I've raised a JIRA...

Any ideas on ways we can improve the logging? e.g. making it easy for
folks to see whats going on.

BTW aint it sad that still clogging / log4j / jdk 5 logging et al
don't do nice colour coding?
