 I just noticed this ticket an instant before submitting a duplicate ... so
 I'll paste in here the description I had in mind (mainly considering the
 fact that I cannot edit description above ''';)''' .

 == Generic conversion of tabs of preferences pages for unknown plugins to
 use bootstrap ==

 The current method of replacing preferences pages (... similar to [#76
 admin pages] ...) has the problem that we are not able to replace the
 templates for all plugins. In particular, the tabs of admin pages will
 revert to using the standard template.

 Prior to this point #76 proved that it's possible to replace some parts in
 a generic fashion so that, while the specific details of a plugin's page
 might be rendered without proper bootstrap styling, at least the common
 parts will (e.g. admin menu in #76 , preferences tabs in this ticket) .
 Therefore this ticket has two parts :

   1. Implement a mechanism allowing extensions to inject further
      ''Genshi'' templates while rendering `bloodhound_theme.html` (e.g.
      `bloodhound_admin_theme.html` introduced in r1341088 )
   2. Implement a template for generic conversion of tabs of preferences
 pages

 '''(1)''' might help with converting other pages by plugins .
