Subject [jira] Resolved: (BEEHIVE-1107) JdbcControl does not handle lower case column names correctly when returning a Map
Date Wed, 03 May 2006 22:55:17 GMT
     [ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BEEHIVE-1107?page=all ]

Eddie O'Neil resolved BEEHIVE-1107:
-----------------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed

Fixed in SVN 399479. Due to the use of generics, the "get" method that was used to fetch
values from the map by upper case key wasn't being called. It is now. Verified in the JUnit
test associated with the checkin.

> The JdbcControl has the ability to return a Map object as:
>   Map map = Map getCustomerById(int id)
> where the Map contains key / value pairs of a record's column name and data. Lookups
on this map should be case insensitive so the following should be true:
>   map.get("foo").equals(map.get("FOO")) == true
