    Add contrib guide comments about using squash & force push.

    I encountered some issues while starting to use 
    The contrib guide contains pretty detailed git commands, but:
    1. For pushing to your branch, the git commands don't actually work when you try to use
them in real life (you need to force push)
    2. For squashing, we tell contributors that they *can* squash, but we don't actually say
that we expect them to.

You can merge this pull request into a Git repository by running:

    $ git pull squash-info

Alternatively you can review and apply these changes as the patch at:

To close this pull request, make a commit to your master/trunk branch
with (at least) the following in the commit message:
