Subject [jira] [Commented] (BATCHEE-30) implement a TransactionManagementService which uses UserTransaction
Date Wed, 09 Jul 2014 13:01:05 GMT

Mark Struberg commented on BATCHEE-30:

I've committed a solution which is purely optional. It consists of a BatchThreadPoolService
which uses an EJB with a @Asynchronous method to start new threads and a TransactionManagementService
which uses an @Resource UserTransaction.

This solution should work on all EE6 compatible servers. I've personally tested it on TomEE
1.6.0, batchee-cli with livecycle=openejb and on WAS-

To enable those services configure the following in your file:

> Some containers do not provide a proper TransactionManager in the specced JNDI location.
> We should try to get a UserTransaction first. And only if this doesn't work we need the
JNDI pickup of the native (and always container specific) TransactionManager.
