Subject HTTP compression
Date Tue, 01 Feb 2011 00:04:41 GMT
Hi

According to this wso2 article ( http://wso2.org/library/3007 ), axis2 will automatically
compress and set the appropriate response headers if the correct headers are set in the http
request, but If I use 'Accept-Encoding: gzip' in either a wget request or using firebug in
firefox, I never see a 'Content-Encoding: gzip' header in the response, nor does the response
look compressed.

How does one enable a compressed response when using the http transport and a non-axis client?

thanks,
charles
