I double checked that the addressing-1.0.mar is under modules directory
of the Axis repository, 
and it is there, under :
D:\Program Files\apache-tomcat-5.5.17\webapps\axis2\WEB-INF\modules

Any other thoughts ?

You need to have addressing module in the class path or your Axis2
repository.
