These properties do not go in the config files. The need to be added to any class that will
try to make a call that will try to use the proxy server. I would guess you would need to
manually add them.

   In Java’s config file?
   In axis config file?
   In the src code of WSDL2Java, and then compile?

System.setProperty("http.proxyUser", "myuser"); 
System.setProperty("http.proxyPassword", "mypassword");

The WSDL2Java command works for local/intranet urls  but fails to connect to outside urls.

I can view the wsdl using IE.  My question is, seems to me Axis does not use IE's proxy setting,

How to proxy to Axis?
