I agree - I've been following Axis performance issues and this fix sounds
pretty significant.

Is there any chance that the bug I entered recently about the performance
problem (http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=19080) could get
into official 1.1 release? We're supposed to ship our product in June and
I'd rather not ship our product with a self-patched version of axis.

Thanks!

very soon. Code is essentially frozen, it just comes down to sorting out
the JAX-RPC certification process with sun (we have to do this now, see)

1.1RC2+bug fixes.

pretty low. You could always get the version from CVS and build it
yourself for even greater likelihood.

best version of Axis yet.
