For details of the Apache license see http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/xml-axis-wsif/LICENSE?rev=HEAD. This is the same for WSIL which IBM also donated to the Apache Foundation. Early on there was an attempt to get WSIF standardized through the JCP/JSR, but at the time the technology was thought too experimental. Now WSIF has undergone much development work, has become much more stable, and now has mainstream acceptance, so there has been talk of having another attempt at getting it recognized by one of the standards organizations. ...ant Anthony Elder ant.elder@uk.ibm.com Web Services Development IBM UK Laboratories, Hursley Park (+44) 01962 818320, x248320, MP208.
