It's just a wrapper around the emitter class. You can create that and
configure it from inside your own app.

Not at all, in that situation you use the <axis-java2wsdl> ant task. Its in
axis-ant.jar, but the docs didnt come together till after axis 1.0
shipped...they are in CVS now.
