I think this has been discussed before, but I've spent quite some time in
the mail archives without much luck.

Can someone elaborate on why the log4j jars in the nightly builds are always
named something like log4j-<theDate>.jar instead of log4j-1.2.4.jar? (note:
in Beta 3, the jar is called log4j-1.2.4.jar)

Also, is it safe to use log4j-1.2.5 with Axis?
