Code patches attached to the bug (10512) that fix the problem for your app server would be
very helpful.

The problem is not in the syntax, it is related to open bug 10512. I'm still
having this problem with the latest source dump, wondering how to work
around it.

Thanks,
mlb

try getRealPath("/").

I hope this should work if you are trying to get document root.
if you trying for some virtual path to be translated in to real path,
pass
that value inside it .

I have seen several messages regarding this problem when deploying Axis
as a war/ear. I have the same problem, deploying on ATG Dynamo
Application Server.

Is this a problem that Axis will be solving in future releases?

Is there a workaround?

Can anyone who has successfully solved this problem on WebLogic or
WebSphere, or, any other app server, please provide some insight? Any
guidance would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
-mlb
