Joost,
I read that BEA's Weblogic Workshop product lets one specify service
metadata as javadoc comments. I don't know if the tags follow an industry
standard or not, however (are there even standards for that yet?)

Subject: xdoclet-like functionality for Axis? (i.e. metadata in
sourcefile>

Hi,

There's the following mention in the Axis user documentation:
"(note for the future : the Axis team, and the Java SOAP community at
large, are thinking about ways to be able to embed this sort of metadata
into your source files if desired - stay tuned!)"
Does anybody have more information on this? Implementations preferably?

I guess it would be wise for this initiative to make use of xdoclet.

Sincerely,
Joost de Vries
