Does running this show the expected result?

        	System.out.println(StAXUtils.getXMLInputFactory().getClass().getName()
+ " is loaded from " +
        			StAXUtils.getXMLInputFactory().getClass().getProtectionDomain().getCodeSource().getLocation());

If so, sorry but I'm out of easy answers.
