Subject [jira] Commented: (AXIS2-1486) The "Finish" button should be enabled only in the last window of the Codegen wizard
Date Mon, 18 Jun 2007 22:47:26 GMT

Ajith Harshana Ranabahu commented on AXIS2-1486:

There is a feature in our plugins where it 'remembers' previous user settings and provides
them as the defaults for the subsequent runs. So if the user has run the codegen wizard at
least once, these settings would be remembered and the finish button will come 'on' meaning
the code will be generated with his previous settings. (I haven't looked at the code recently
but It seemed this feature is broken in a few places). In other words if you go to WSDL2Java
wizard and presses the finish button it will regenerate the code with the previous settings
this user used (becomes handy when you don't want to set individual parameters)

may be what we need is a 'forget settings' button ?

> Found an issue when testing the codegen wizard version - Axis2_Codegen_Wizard_1.2.0.
Listed below are the steps followed
> 1. Select the option "Generate a WSDL from a Java source file" and click "Next"
> 2. Specify the correct class names, add the correct folders and click on the button "Test
Class Loading..."
> 3. The "Finish" button is getting enabled and you are allowed to complete the WSDL generation
without specifying any WSDL name or an outoput path
> This is not valid. The user should not be able to finish the wizard till you go to the
last window of the wizard. The button "Finish" should not be enabled until you specify a correct
wsdl file and an output location
