-----------------------------------------

Benjamin,

In setenv.sh, please remove the following lines:
export AXIS2_HOME=$AXIS2_HOME
export JAVA_HOME=$JAVA_HOME
export AXIS2_CLASSPATH=$AXIS2_CLASSPATH

and add the following lines instead:
export AXIS2_HOME
export JAVA_HOME
export AXIS2_CLASSPATH

thanks,
dims

> Project: Axis 2.0 (Axis2)
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: deployment

> I downloaded and extracted the Axis2 1.1.1 zip standalone distribution on my Solaris
machine. Set the JAVA_HOME to a valid 1.4.2 JDK and set the AXIS2_HOME to /home/basics/axis2/axis2-1.1.1,
which is where I extracted the distribution to. When I try to startup the server using $AXIS2_HOME/bin/axis2server.sh
I get the following error message almost immediately:
> axis2server.sh: AXIS2_HOME=/home/basics/axis2/axis2-1.1.1: is not an identifier
> I'm not sure what "is not an identifier" for a directory means. Is this because I'm
on Solaris, which isn't listed as a supported OS, though I was hoping it would just work here.
Note I've done this successfully on Windows and Linus with no problems, so I'm familiar with
the standard install and conf of axis2. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
