Can not invoke methods on a web service (org.apache.axis2.transport.http.ListingAgent.extractHostAndPort
exception)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: AXIS2-1172
                 URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AXIS2-1172
             Project: Apache Axis 2.0 (Axis2)
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: transports
Environment: WindowsXP, Apache Tomcat 5.5.17, Axis2 Sept. 15, 2006 nightly loadbuild
            Reporter: Gul Onural

I have tomcat (5.5.17) running.

I dropped the axis2.war (downloaded from Sept. 15 nightly loadbuild as binary, http://people.apache.org/dist/axis2/nightly/)
 in the webapps folder.

Opened internet explorer and connected to http://localhost:8080/axis2/

Clicked Services, then version service (which comes with the standard distribution).

Got the following exception :

description The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from
fulfilling this request.

              exception

java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: 14
	java.lang.String.substring(String.java:1765)
	org.apache.axis2.transport.http.ListingAgent.extractHostAndPort(ListingAgent.java:126)
	org.apache.axis2.transport.http.ListingAgent.processListService(ListingAgent.java:166)
	org.apache.axis2.transport.http.AxisServlet.doGet(AxisServlet.java:165)
	javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:689)
	javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:802)

Note that :

- I have also got exactly the same exception from other services which were working previously.
- I have not changed any configuration properties of the axis2
