Subject [jira] Commented: (AXIS2-1169) incomplete code generation by wsdl2java
Date Fri, 15 Sep 2006 12:03:22 GMT

Stephan Steiner commented on AXIS2-1169:
----------------------------------------

I just generated the stub using axis1.4 - works like a charm (I feared I had been given some
MS only WSDL but that can be ruled out since axis1.4 can properly handle the document)

> Project: Apache Axis 2.0 (Axis2)
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: wsdl

> Generating the client stub using the commandline
> wsdl2java -uri searchDirectory.wsdl -o <path> -p <package>
> The resulting classes are incomplete. The service returns an element named response of
type_searchDirectoryOutput, which in turn is of type __SearchDirectoryResponse, and __SearchDirectoryResponse
includes an element called employees which is of type ArrayOf__employee and which in turn
consists of an array of employee objects.
> Likewise for the input, __SearchDirectoryRequest ought to have 3 string parameters that
are not in the generated code.
