Subject SSL & authentication at the same time?
Date Wed, 09 Aug 2006 18:52:23 GMT
Hi guys,

When I tried to access an IIS site which has SSL enabled, neither basic or
ntlm works.

When I request Basic in IIS:

08-09@11:48:08 DEBUG [main] (AuthChallengeProcessor.java:110) - Challenge
for digest authentication scheme not available
08-09@11:48:08 INFO [main] (AuthChallengeProcessor.java:100) - basic
authentication scheme selected
08-09@11:48:08 DEBUG [main] (AuthChallengeProcessor.java:154) - Using
authentication scheme: basic
08-09@11:48:08 DEBUG [main] (AuthChallengeProcessor.java:162) -
Authorization challenge processed
08-09@11:48:08 DEBUG [main] (HttpMethodDirector.java:706) - Authentication
scope: BASIC 'columbus.corp.google.com'@columbus.corp.google.com:443
08-09@11:48:08 DEBUG [main] (HttpMethodDirector.java:855) - Credentials
required
08-09@11:48:08 DEBUG [main] (HttpMethodDirector.java:873) - Credentials
provider not available
08-09@11:48:08 INFO [main] (HttpMethodDirector.java:714) - Failure
authenticating with BASIC 'columbus.corp.google.com'@
columbus.corp.google.com:443

When I use NTML in IIS:
08-09@11:51:01 DEBUG [main] (AuthChallengeProcessor.java:154) - Using
authentication scheme: ntlm
08-09@11:51:01 DEBUG [main] (AuthChallengeProcessor.java:162) -
Authorization challenge processed
08-09@11:51:01 DEBUG [main] (HttpMethodDirector.java:706) - Authentication
scope: NTLM <any realm>@columbus.corp.google.com:443
08-09@11:51:01 DEBUG [main] (HttpState.java:435) - enter
HttpState.getCredentials(AuthScope)
08-09@11:51:01 DEBUG [main] (HttpMethodDirector.java:855) - Credentials
required
08-09@11:51:01 DEBUG [main] (HttpMethodDirector.java:873) - Credentials
provider not available
08-09@11:51:01 INFO [main] (HttpMethodDirector.java:729) - No credentials
available for NTLM <any realm>@columbus.corp.google.com:443

Is anyone aware of it? BTW, I am not using 1.0. I am using a nightly build
from June.

Thanks,
Jeff
