well, the correct place is not an official repository. you must have 
dims' location in your ~/build.properties

for what it is worth, I now do have maven building Axis2 under java1.5, 
but only by pasting in lots of stub operations into DOM implementations, 
of which we now have two: SAAJ and Axiom. I dont intend to check the 
things back in as they will not compile on a Dom2 system; there is a new 
type UserDataHandler which is used in some of the operations that is 
Dom3 only.
