I like the general design a lot, and would make two changes:

1) I think that Venkat actually meant making the dot in the middle of the A 
the "axis" of the gear.  I agree, and would do that by moving the gear up 
and to the right.  This would also make the logo a little smaller.  It might 
be even cooler to add another (linked) gear centered on the dot between the 
I and the S....

2) I don't actually like the feather as the dot on the "i", I think it's 
visually unbalanced.  What about making the feather the actual "I" itself? 
i.e. rotate the feather 90 degrees counterclockwise and replace the "I" with 
it.
