Venkat Reddy commented on AXIS-1882:
------------------------------------

Dims,

Should it be
"The default is 1.2 (SOAP 1.1 JAX-RPC compliant. 1.1 indicates SOAP 1.1 encoded.)"
or
"The default is 1.2 (SOAP 1.1 encoded. 1.1 indicates SOAP 1.1 JAX-RPC compliant.)"

> Project: Axis
> Type: Bug
> Components: WSDL processing

> Priority: Minor

> If I use the ANT TASK wsdl2java below:
> <wsdl2java url="${gensrc.home}/myservice1.wsdl"
> output="${gensrc.home}"
> deployscope="session"
> serverSide="yes"
> skeletonDeploy="yes"
> noimports="no"
> verbose="no"
> testcase="no">
> <mapping namespace="urn:myservice1" package="shota.gen"/>
> </wsdl2java>
> it generates a deploy.wsdd with a typemapping version of "1.2".
> The documentation for the ANT task wsdl2java says the default is "1.1".
> If I force it and add:
> typemappingversion="1.1"
> then it generates a typemapping version of "1.1", and everything downstream works fine.
> The incorrect default value causes further problems downstream however since I originally
generated my WSDL using java2wsdl and it seems to be defaulting the typeversionmapping correctly
as doucmented and assuming everything is "1.1" by default.
> This seems related to AXIS bug 1874.
> Hope this help!
