Subject [jira] Updated: (AXIS-1510) WSDL creates class that extends Object array
Date Tue, 30 Nov 2004 07:41:34 GMT
     [ http://nagoya.apache.org/jira/browse/AXIS-1510?page=history ]

Dominik Kacprzak updated AXIS-1510:
-----------------------------------

    Attachment: example.tar.gz

Michael,

I tried to recreate a problem using the example that you provided but without any luck. I
attached a tar file which contains a wsdl file that I used (ArrayTest.wsdl) and the files
that WSDL2Java generated for me. Can you take a quick look at my wsdl and let me know what
you guys are doing differently?

cheers,

- Dominik

> When I use the beta2 release's version of WSDL2Java with Amazon's WSDL file:
> http://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/merchant_documents/Programs/Merchants-API-Integration-1.3.wsdl
> I get the following:
> public class DocumentDownloadAckStatusArray extends java.lang.Object[] implements java.io.Serializable
{
> ...
> }
> Since arrays cannot be extended, this code does not compile.
> Incidentally, if you type the text "Object[]" into the header or try searching for it,
you can break Jira.
