for some reason, that's not what works on my NT box.... here's the output
from happyaxis.jsp when my system works...

Found Jakarta-Commons Discovery (org.apache.commons.discovery.Resource) at
D:\Tomcat 4.1\common\lib\commons-discovery.jar
Found Jakarta-Commons Logging (org.apache.commons.logging.Log) at
D:\Tomcat 4.1\common\lib\commons-logging-api.jar
Found Log4j (org.apache.log4j.Layout) at D:\Tomcat
4.1\common\lib\log4j-core.jar
Found IBM's WSDL4Java (com.ibm.wsdl.factory.WSDLFactoryImpl) at D:\Tomcat
4.1\webapps\axis\WEB-INF\lib\wsdl4j.jar
Found JAXP implementation (javax.xml.parsers.SAXParserFactory) at

java.version=1.3.1_05
java.ext.dirs=D:\jdk1.3.1_05\jre\lib\ext



There are no relevant jars on my classpath at startup, here's a
catalina.bat debug message i added:

using CLASSPATH:       D:\jdk1.3.1_05\lib\tools.jar;..\bin\bootstrap.jar
