Hi dims,

the multithreading problem was "fixed" by your changes but a very unfortunate 
side-effect has occured. With the "broken" version of Axis my RPC service would 
perform at 16 cycles per second with the given hardware configuration. After I 
downladed the latest CVS and rerun the test the multithreading failures were 
gone but the performance of my RPC service dropped to five (5) cycles per 
second. That is a 66% performance penalty! I think you need to reconsider the 
effects of your changes in regards to performance.
