You could start with JavaBeanWriter, but this isn't really a bean, so a better 
approach might be to create another writer altogether - say 
JavaSimpleTypeWriter? - which looks a lot like JavaBeanWriter but handles 
restrictions.  That way the JavaBeanWriter doesn't get cluttered with 
simpleType code that complexType beans will never need.  JavaTypeWriter would 
then have to determine between 3 Java writers instead of two:  JavaBeanWriter, 
JavaEnumTypeWriter, and the new JavaSimpleTypeWriter.

I hope this helps, though I suppose I just made it more confusing!
