Calendar de/serializer does not preserve TimeZone

------- Additional Comments From bob@synxis.com  2002-09-13 16:24 -------
Server-side output:
TimeZone =
java.util.SimpleTimeZone[id=MST,offset=-25200000,dstSavings=3600000,useDaylight=true,startYear=0,startMode=3,startMonth=3,startDay=1,startDayOfWeek=1,startTime=7200000,startTimeMode=0,endMode=2,endMonth=9,endDay=-1,endDayOfWeek=1,endTime=7200000,endTimeMode=0]

tcp-mon says:
HTTP/1.0 200 OK
Content-Type: text/xml; charset=utf-8
Date: Fri, 13 Sep 2002 16:17:14 GMT
Server: Tomcat Web Server/3.3 Final ( JSP 1.1; Servlet 2.2 )

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">

 </soapenv:Body>
</soapenv:Envelope>

Client says (c.getTimeZone()):

 calendars TimeZone should be MST. It is:
java.util.SimpleTimeZone[id=GMT,offset=0,dstSavings=3600000,useDaylight=false,startYear=0,startMode=0,startMonth=0,startDay=0,startDayOfWeek=0,startTime=0,startTimeMode=0,endMode=0,endMonth=0,endDay=0,endDayOfWeek=0,endTime=0,endTimeMode=0]
