Subject [WSIF] uses commons-logging
Date Fri, 19 Jul 2002 14:52:47 GMT
WSIF now uses Apache commons-logging for its trace and messages instead of
JLog/JRas. This means you need commons-logging.jar on your classpath and
you may need to configure commons-logging.properties and/or
log4j.properties. If you are already using axis then default versions of
these property files are in axis.jar. Switch trace on by setting in
log4j.properties:-
log4j.rootCategory=INFO,CONSOLE,LOGFILE
log4j.logger.wsif=DEBUG
log4j.appender.LOGFILE=wsif.log
log4j.appender.LOGFILE.Threshold=DEBUG
The wsif.trace, wsif.tracefile and wsif.tracemechanism properties in
wsif.properties have been removed.
Please let me know any comments or concerns,
Mark
