Perhaps a working group should be launched to explore the issue.  Think we 
need a "Casing Architecture"?  Should only take about 2 years to get a 
draft spec out.

The IBM way of casing it is the correct way of casing it, of course.  ;-)

Seriously, the most common use I've seen is "Web Services" capital W and 
capital S.

Silly Q.

What is the casing of 'web service'. MS has Web Service; Sun, W3C and IBM
have Web service.

I ask as it is suddenly an issue for me that copy editors are complaining
about. I dont use capital W for web, so may just go to lower case for both
words.

NB: if we cant even get consistent interoperability in casing of the
concept, how on earth are we going to get distributed transactions
exchanging complex collection datatypes and with binary attachments, using
federated authentication, to work?
