I've always said that Gump was made to help get people to talk to one
another.  We have another instance of it today.  A change was made
yesterday which will affect UDDI4J.  See
http://jakarta.apache.org/builds/gump/latest/uddi4j.html for details.

One perspective is that Axis in in alpha and people shouldn't rely on our
interfaces being stable.  Another is that Axis's early adoptors are our
best friends and we should be aware and accomodating.

My preference would be to add this property back and deprecate it.
