Subject JAX-RPC Array Support
Date Mon, 17 Dec 2001 16:08:49 GMT
JAX-RPC indicates that the following array support is necessary in the
runtime

Done 1) Support for the 3 encoding styles listed in the
XML-Schema Table 18-1
I added 12/14 2) Support for arrays of arrays
Not Tested 3) Support for multi reference elements
No 4) Support for multi dim array types (i.e.
soapenc:arrayType="xsd:string[2,3]")
No 5) Support for sparse arrays
No 6) Support for partially transmitted arrays.

I am looking at 3 and 4 right now.

For 5: any comments on when the serializer should send a sparse array
versus a normally array encoding? What percentage of nill values?

Thanks,
Rich Scheuerle
