I wonder if i understand the question. However,  i have been using SOAP
to talk to a secure web site via proxy. i am using SOAP2.1 release version,
and it looks to me that this functionality is not implemented in HTTPUtils
and SSLUtils becaues it simply tries to build a SSLSocket to the proxy.
Attached please find these two files i modified to use JSSE1.0.2 sample By using these two files, i can see
"Handshake finished" from the trace at least. i don't know if it's the right
to implement this functionality, but simply think it might help in some
