Subject AW: number format in axis2c
Date Tue, 07 Aug 2012 07:37:33 GMT
I guess this is a I18N problem? so .-1 is quite correct; I don't know how ubuntu linux handles
I18N setups, setting's and getting's.

i.e. currency, dates,

i.e. dates – how are they formatted?   dd.mmm.yyyy hh:mm:ss,   mm/dd/yyyy, mm/dd/yy hh:mm

i.e. currency € #'###.00 or € #.###,00 or #.###.00 € or #'###.00 €  (any clue?)

Josef

Is it just with serialization? What happens if you just print the value to a log or something.
 Do you still get a comma?

Subject: number format in axis2c

axis2c users:

I installed axis2c from binaries in ubuntu linux 12.04. But floating point numbers displays
them with comma when serializing.

example:
<number>25.04</number> is serialized as <number>25,04</number>

If I run the axis_http_server, in each response ends with:

Request served in 0,125 seconds.

and should end with:

Request served in 0.125 seconds.

the system locale is:

LANG=en_US.UTF-8
LANGUAGE=
LC_CTYPE="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_NUMERIC="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_TIME="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_COLLATE="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_MONETARY="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_MESSAGES="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_PAPER="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_NAME="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_ADDRESS="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_TELEPHONE="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_MEASUREMENT="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_ALL=

how I can configure the floating point number format?

thanks.
