Subject Does Axis C++ support SOAP V1.1 encoding
Date Mon, 22 Mar 2004 22:29:10 GMT
Question:
is there any support for SOAP V1.1 encoding?

Axis C++ appears to support only SOAP V1.2 encoding:
xmlns:soapenc="http://www.w3.org/2001/06/soap-encoding"

Even when the wsdl specifies SOAP V1.1 encoding:
xmlns:soapenc="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"

and the interopBase Round 2 SOAP Interoperability Tests specification (
http://whitemesa.com/interop/proposal2.htm ) lists SOAP V1.1 encoding
style as the interoperability requirement, the Axis C++ generated code
sends V1.2 encoding in the SOAP messages.

My WebSphere client generated from the interopBase wsdl is using SOAP V1.1
encoding and so cannot interoperate with the Axis C++ web service.
for any array type parameters.

Thanks very much,
Dan
