To do this properly we need to write some JNI code to integrate
Axis/C++ to Tomcat .. I think Lilantha Dharshana started working
on it and I thought there was some code committed even. 

Lilantha, are you here?? If so can you indicate the status of
that code and plans? 

Gilda, are you willing to work on it .. I can help with overall 
architecture/ideas if necessary. Do you have any experience with
JNI? If not I'd suggest starting with that part. The amount of 
work is not too high IMO but then its always easy to say that 
when you're not the one writing the code ;-).
