Subject [jira] Commented: (AXISCPP-658) make the "openConnection" method really open the connection instead of flushOutput

Samisa Abeysinghe commented on AXISCPP-658:

The solution to would require the following steps:
1. Remove call to Transport::openConnection from Call class - this has no side effects as
the current openConnection is empty
2. Add the connection open logic to Transport::openConnection
3. Make the Transport::flushOutput call Transport::openConnection

> The "openConnection" method does nothing at the moment in transport. The actual connection
opening is done in the "flushOutput" method.
> It is ideal to have the openConnection method acctually open the connection in the transport.
> To do this, we have to remove the connection opening from the flushOutput methid and
also ensure that the connection opening is done in some sensible place in the Call class -
probably in invoke method after the handlers are loaded.
