Subject RE: Today CVS Build failing
Date Fri, 20 May 2005 03:39:22 GMT
Hi Rangika,

> Is SimpleRef running for you?

Yes SimpleRef is working for me.

> Is your Apache port 8080?

Yes my apache port is 8080.

And when I set the following,
testPort = 8080
monitorPort = 8080
the tests are working normally (but I'm receiving exception messages
which is obvious because the port is already in use).

And Rangika, I think your apache port and testPort should point to the
same port.

> But when I give testPort = 80 (Same as Apache)then I got the same
exceptions as you got

here what is the monitor port u used?? If it is 80, the exception is
obvious. Although the framework says that the test execution is failing
in this time, go and look at SimpleRef.out file and SimpleRef.expected
file. The port number in SimpleRef.out should be different from what is
in SimpleRef.expected file. This could be the reason for test failing.

Regards,
Dushshantha

Hi Dushshantha

I also got the same exceptions.But this is my 1st test.SimpleRef

Is SimpleRef running for you?

Is your Apache port 8080?

But when I give testPort = 8080
MonitorPort = 13260

When I give the following command it gives the following output
ant -f test.xml -Ddir.xmlParser=/usr/local/xerces-c-src_2_6_0/lib -
Ddir.release=/home/rangika/checkout_May19/obj/package/axis-c-1.6a.n-

I think according to what John said monitor is trying to open the server
connection & it can't.

But when I give testPort = 80 (Same as Apache)then I got the same
exceptions as you got

What's wrong here?
