libwww is bug free(almost), efficient and widely used transport library.
It is written in C. It supports chunking, security (ssl etc) and other
transport protocols than http.

What is the purpose of providing wrappers? Why should we use libWWW?

I think it is good if we could stick to Apache license as this is an
Apache project.
